HOME
I'm staring out into the night,
And trying to hide the pain.
I'm going to the place where love
and feeling good don't ever cost a thing,
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.
I'm going home to the place where I belong,
where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm running from you know I think you got me all wrong,
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.

Baby, let's change it up.
I got a change of template, but let's not read too deeply into it. Do not allow your overactive imagination to run away from you. I've not fallen in love, nor am I particularly attracted to anyone right now. I just happen to like the template, don't you?
The sun's shining again - for now anyways, but everyone seems to be treading on glass. It's to be expected really, seeing as to how the current run of events have gotten us so strung up it's a suprise that no one in the family has suffered a mental breakdown - well, not yet anyway. Every phonecall and medical appointment has us holding our breaths, and there's a palpable tension in the air when the not so good days come around, once every so often. But days have been made much more bearable with the the presence of those who've been there all along, whether it's with kind words, muffins, gummies, fruits, flowers or offers of household help. The road ahead is long, but made so much easier with the knowledge that there are people who care so thank you all so very much yes? (:
I guess there's a lesson to be learnt from this, but right now, I'm just really glad things didn't turn out worse. I don't want to overanalyse or be overly optimistic about it, god know that most of the time things don't turn out the way you want them to turn out, so I guess we can only live day by day, and hope for the best, no? Of course, this is just my take on things at this very moment. You all know that I'm a fickleminded bastard, so come monday, I may very well whistle a totally different tune.
Speaking of monday, I haven't been doing much work these few days, so I think it's time to try to settle down and get the momentuem going, there isn't much time left afterall. Besides, I was watching the national day parade the other day, and it just strengthened my resolve.
Call me a sucker for uniforms.
But you've got to admit, it's a nice shade of green. (:
